Hi! I, like other people, am a big fan of riddles, so I thought I'd post a few here. Post your answers!

1: While walking across a bridge I saw a boat full of people. Yet on the boat there wasn't a single person. Why?

2: The names of three trees are hidden in the sentences below. The letters are in consecutive order. Can you find them? On this farm, we get ham from a hog any time. The farmer will help in every possible way. He faced two very similar choices, both bad.

3: Two babies were born to the same person, in the same minute, in the same hour, in the same year, yet they are not twins. How is this possible?

4: Forward I am heavy, but backward I am not. What am I?

A man was found murdered one Sunday morning.

His wife immediately called the police.

The police questioned the wife and staff and was given these alibis:


The Wife said she was in bed reading a book.
The Cook claimed she cooking breakfast.
The Gardener claimed he was planting seeds.
The Maid claimed she was getting the mail.
The Butler claimed he polishing the silver.

The police instantly arrested the murderer. Who did it and how did they know?
