I have a MotoROKR Z6m. If this is your phone, all you need to do is go to the Media Gallery, then to Sounds, and transfer it from your memory stick to the phone. Then you can either apply as ringtone from there (Options>Apply As>Ringtone), or go to the ringtones, and it should show up. It's just transferring the files from the memory stick to the phone's memory.

i own a motorola rokr z6 and i habe no problems my phone can take mp3, wma and a couple of other formats.

if you have a memory card in your phone right click on the file copy and paste into the memory card then on your phone go to the list of music click options then go to apply to then click ring tone.

It just takes an extra step to get your MP3s to work as ringtones. All you need to do is go to your Media Gallery and go to Sounds. Highlight the MP3 that you would like to use as a ringtone, and go to Options. Scroll down to Manage, open that menu and choose Move. Choose the little orange phone and it will convert it so you will be able to use it as a ringtone. Hope that helps!

I have the same problem, the file is in my audio section in my phone but when I click option, it wouldn't let me apply it as a ringtone. I have a motorola K1 KRZR.
I have already tried what it says on the thread above but doesn't work.
Anybody else know what to do?
