Does your java settings or meboy settings have sound enabled?
Does your phone even have sound support?
Does other java games have sound?
Have you tried reinstalling MeBoy?
If so, have you trued finding a different rom?

When will people ever learn that GBA is too advanced for java?
The only GBA emulators are for Symbian Phones. Some of the newer Sony Ericssons has got Symbian OS, but only the newest ones (and some UIQ's)

There is a GBA emulator for Sony Ericsson but it is not java. The only Sony Ericssons which can support gba games are the UIQ and Symbian ones. The emu is called vbagx. There might be java emus but they work slow and most of the games they support do not work.So there are a few solutions only. If u want GBA games buy GBA, Smartphone or play them by an Emulator on ur PC.Hope i was helpful enough
