[Need Help] iphone iPod Touch iPad media ringtones

i seem to be able to download the ringtones but i cant figure out how to open them and use them as ringtones on my phone. can anyone help?

You need to sync them to your iPhone via iTunes

make sure u can see all the file name including the .m4a
(may need change settings in folder options)

when u change the file type to m4r (from m4a)
delete the file in itunes that u created.. then open the m4r file..

should work fine - does for me!

i downloaded what i thought was a text alert tone for iphone 3gs but it went to ring tones. does anybody know how to make it the text alert tone?
