Besides games by Gameloft, what other publishers are on the ban list for uploads? I recently tried to post one for Hellboy, that is produced by Konami, and was not accepted due to "Copyright"
The following game developers are banned from been uploaded:
    EA
    Gameloft
    GLU
    hands on
    I-Play
    Namco
    Vivendi
I dont know why it wont let you upload hellboy cos that is made by konami anyway hope this helps.

Hi Rewyn, It was refused because the game had EA noted in the Manifest file. I will take another look if you would like to upload the game here using the attachment feature.

The list of forbidden Games / Vendors can be found here. Please be aware that there maybe other games refused that are not listed.

They can be refused for many reasons,

    Poor Quality
    Duplicate
    Wrong Catagory
    Unsuitable Content
    Copyright
    Unclear Title

These are just some of the reasons

If i am correct i think yours were duplicates. if you move your curser over where it says refused it will give a reason.

The S60 3rd Edition gallery is currently mixed up with some S60v1, v2 and UIQ games. So Mark is Tagging them so users can Make sure that they are downloading the correct version ie, For those with a S60 3rd Edt Nokia they must download S60 3rd Edition games with the S60v3 or S60v3.1 tag.

But whats the Symbian version got to do with Java games

Because Java games for S60 work with other phones like SE too - putting (S60) there can be misleading....

It means that when a member downloads a game in the java section, if it is tagged with S60 ect then he is aware that it has been tested and will work on their phone, just because a game is correct size and file, does not always mean that they are compatible, certain makes of phones will accept certain java games and others won't even though it is the correct size and file type. At least this way it gives them a better chance of finding a game that will work .
