Question Samsung Rugby 2 A847 browser help please

Was ATT unlocked and using on Tmobile.
ok I have had one of these phones before but had to get a new one everything was set up and working on the old one but now on the new one my husband me and tmobile have tried everything we can think of to get the browser going. Tmobile has sent the settings to the phone that didn't work. We have manually entered the settings in with tmobile telling us what should be there that didn't work. We have tried to use different settting found on the internet that didn't work. Ok so tmobile has finally said that it might have something to do with the phone trying to go to the att web page or something but there is no way to enter in a web address to go to everything according to tmobile is right in the phone pic messaging works so they say the internet connection is there. So we had a thought to download a browser and see if we could get the internet working with a new browser but when i try to put the files from the computer to the phone and open them it says unsupported file type. I need some help. I can't figure out what it wrong with the internet on here. Oh and one more thing the old att setting CANT be deleted off the phone don't know if that has anything to do with it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks,
    Jennifer

So Have you activated any data plan(internet plan) ?
If the phone has two or more internet settings, then you have select one of them as default setting. Goto phone setting and select tmobile setting as default.
Try UC browser or opera mini, these browser might work .

Yes there is an active data plan. Internet setting are checked and correct according to the phone company. I have tried to install the uc browser bolt opera and qq all of them say unsupported file type and can go no further with them.

Ok, search uc and opera mini on this site and goto their download page. There will be a option called "click here download jad file" or something like that, download it, You will get a file with .jad file extension.
Then the download the main app, it will have .jar file extension. Now transfers both these files to your phone and click on .jad file to begin installation. The main thing is you should have the .jad file.
    I hope it helps .
