  1. Default help needed with live wallpapers please!

    Hello.
    I'm very new at this,until now I downloaded all my apps at the Android market.
    But now I found this site,and thought it was ok to try.
    I wanted to download some live wallpapers,and that worked.But I don't how to get them in my wallpaper gallery.
    The files are in my 'downloads' area,and when I touch them,they are opent by a html viewer?
    I hope my problem is clear to you,and that someone can help me.
    Oh I have a htc desire hd phone.

    You cant. There apk files.

    There's a couple steps involved. It's kind of tricky.

    First you'll need to locate the apk on your phone.

    Once you locate it, either copy it and drop it somewhere you can easily find it on the sd card.

    Then connect to your computer and connect your phone via Disk Drive mode.

    Once connected, browser the sdcard for the file. If it's an apk, you'll need to copy it to your desktop and change it to a .zip

    Once it's a zip file, unzip it by double clicking (extract the content for windows users).

    Once you extract the content, you'll need to browse the folders.

    Voilàà .. The wallpapers should be in there.

    rename the .html to .apk and then it should work probably.

    Or, if it only takes a few kb in size, it may not be the .apk but a web page mistakenly dispatched by the file host. It happens with certain filehosts (e.g. Filesonic).
