  1. Red face Gifs?

Hello everyone, I need some help.

I want to make a screensaver so I thaught why not give it a go it. Well from what I have learnt is that it is actually kind of hard when you are trying to start out. I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction to finding a .gif compiler. And just for some more help, you need sprites to make screensavers... right?

You can use the GIMP (Log in to see links) to create animated GIFs or use a video converter that can convert video clips to animated GIF.
Or if you just want to put some frames together to make an animated GIF, use something like UnFREEz (Log in to see links), which is a really simple utility to create animations.
GIMP is a great tool because it is a powerful editor. Both GIMP and UnFREEz are open source (freeware).

Well if you don't like GIMP you can use Paint.NET to get the job done - the only problem is no other free software has such a HUGE library of free tutorials as that of the GIMP and moreover there are so many followers of the GIMP that you are never too far from help....

Anyways you can always use stuff like Adobe's cash-cow (Photoshop) - if you have the money or use the different path (that of cap'n Jack Sparrow).....
