need good antivirus
do we need anti virus on our phones also ? if yes .. is there any good antivirus available for free ?

Just Monitor the permissions required by the apps that you installed and that's it.
Android is the Linux based, no need for antivirus, and more applications are completely isolated from each other.
Antivirus software is for Windows

Don't know if there has been an infection, but as with any Linux OS, even though you may not be at risk it is easy to pass infection to all your contacts who may be at risk.
