Problem with downloading android appications using apple computer?

Hi there. I'm completely new to using the android phone. Could anyone enlighten me re downloading android applications via mobiles24 with my imac to my Xperia phone please...I tried to drag the downloaded application/games into my phonecard vaia cable provided....that didn't work.

Does anyone know if this is a compatibility problem? And so, how do you overcome this. Thanks!

If your Mac detects your SD card it should show up on the desktop shortly after connecting the USB cable. Have you enabled mass storage mode on your phone or have you tried sending the files via Bluetooth?
