Java emulators

I couldn't really find any other forums this would make sense in, so sorry if this is out of place.

At my school we have computers but they can't open .exe files that weren't allowed by the admins. I found a few java emulators that worked for the my computer because they were .jar files.

Right now I have Jswingboy for gameboy color and Jsnes for snes. Does anyone know any other emulators that would work? I already know about vnes, but the site is blocked and when I actually downloaded it, it wouldn't work.
