Yeah, Boone is allied with the NCR... so he will leave you if you work against them.

Hmm... have you failed the 'Don't thread with The Bear quest'? If not, it's not too late to swap.

On the plus side, I found something that takes away Boone's faction.. So it doesn't matter how it ends now..

I guess you mean Boone's companion quest?

Yeah, I think there a dialogue option after the quest that makes him break all ties with the NCR.

Got attacked by three grannies, and at the battle for Hoover Dam, there was something on the NCR Emergency Radio too.

Well. That's the thing. There isn't one for the radio. Obviously.

And for some reason, my textures are stuffed up. So people appear like this..

Never got one of the grannies.. This is that Mick And Ralph's Crier...

So. The experience was spoiled by the fact I was shotting at red exclamation marks.
