Yeah, everything is packed up and in the car, but we're not ready to actually leave yet... We want to know if it's going to change direction or not.

Stuff is still looking bad, but Gov Schwarzenegger and Bush are sending 1500 National Guards here.
I already saw one of those dual propeller military helicopters dropping antifire stuff on it.
I can still see flames out my window though.
Everything is packed up and in the cars.
We're ready to leave at a moment's notice.

It looks like the national guard and the firefighters have taken care of the fire on my side of the mountain.
I don't even see white smoke anymore!
Again, I want to thank all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers.

The mountain to the left is the one that was on fire. Sorry about the not clear picture. The smoke still hasn't completely cleared.
Now you know why I was freakin out....

The fire is now heading away from my part of town...
I guess I should be relieved, but that just means that other people's houses are being threatened now...
So far over 1 million people have had to evacuate and $1 billion worth of damage has been done...
