Actually it was developed by Namco Games with Square-Enix's permission. Maybe Square saw their rushed yet amazing job with other games such as Katamari and Ridge Racer Drift..

(someone notified me that FFM touch screen works for 176x220, as long as it has touch screen or QWERTY keyboard.)
