Ringtones on SOny Ericsson?!?!
Hey, I've tried downloading the rigntones off this website and others and put them on my Sony Ericcson W580i phone, but none of them are compatible as a ringtone, even thouh they are in mp3 format! Like when I go into file manager, select the rigntone and go to "use as" it wont let me put it as a ringtone even though i can put other mp3 ringtones iv bought from my service carrier rogers as my ringtones. help pelase?!?!

Rogers like many other US & Canadian carriers are blocking the ability to set or even download ringtones from free websites like Mobiles24. The only thing you can try is make sure the MP3 is no longer than 30 seconds long and you may also need to DRM protect the MP3 by reading this thread or downloading Log in to see links
