Till now PS3 lovers are enjoying PS3 without paying any additional cost where as Xbox 360 is charging $50 for Xbox Live Gold Subscription. But it is possible that the good days come to an end and PS3 also start charging some kind of subscription fee.
Sony Computer SVP of marketing and Peter Dille said that;
"Will we charge for [PSN], or why don't we charge for it?" It's been our philosophy not to charge for it from launch up until now, but Kaz [Sony Computer Entertainment CEO] recently went on the record as saying that's something we're looking at."
