I wish this world cup would come and go so that everything can return to normal here.

I know. It's horrid. The roads are a complete stuff-up. It takes me two hours sometimes to drive 28 km.

All so you people don't have to get stuck in traffic when you get here

No not yet mate, a squad of no more than 23 be announced next year May 11th.

Beckham yes, i thiink for set pieces and crosses, good player to bring on.
As for Owen, i cant see him going, not played any part of any qualifying games or friendly's, unless he starts more games for united and scores a few goals next year, then no.

This would be my Squad of 23.....

    Goalkeepers
    Ben Foster
    Robert Green
    David James

    Defenders
    Glen Johnson
    Wes Brown
    John Terry
    Rio Ferdinand
    Matthew Upson
Ledley King - (only if fit and playing for club which is very doubtful)
    Ashley Cole
    Wayne Bridge

    Midfielders
    Aaron Lennon
    Theo Walcott
    David Beckham
    Frank Lampard
    Steven Gerrard
    Gareth Barry
Owen Hargreaves (if he comes back ok from his injury and plays alot of games)
    Joe Cole

    Strikers
    Wayne Rooney
Emile Heskey (dont rate him but..)
    Jermain Defoe
and Michael Owen or Peter Crouch depending on form at the moment crouch.

And the starting 11 that will be playing in the Final on Sunday, 11 July 2010

    .................................Robert Green

....Glen Johnson... Rio Ferdinand... John Terry.... Ashley Cole

    .........................................Gareth Barry...

....Aaron Lennon... ......Frank Lampard.... .... Steven Gerrard

    .......................Jermain Defoe......Wayne Rooney

All depends on injuries and form come next year when squad is announced.

Watching the cup of Africa, I observe the games of Cote'd Ivoire, Nigeria and Ghana...and they don't impress much, if it be the same during the WC, Serbia and Portugal have more chances
