Please anyone. Can you tell me where can I find the scholar which can read from the mysterious log book? And why I'm not allowed to cross the path behind the man in the pirate town? Thank's a lot...

You will find the scholar on greedy island. You'll be able to cross the path at a later stage in the game as the monsters there are quite tough.

But I also need some help!
I can't find the fourth peace of the broken ring... I got one from the girl in the old forest, one for the quest on greedy island and the third for slaying the lvl40 dragon in the woodlands.
I've got both heidel and keya on lvl 40 now but i'd like to have the special item before i face blackbeard.

you don't need any to beat the blackbear... just bring a lot of potion.

btw there's a glitch in this game that i found. dunno if it only me or you can try it too..

you can get an easy money if you still rememberd that someone in desert place is thirsty?
once you got the water, bring it to that person. he'll give you 1000 money. just repeeat it... and voila... you'll get infinite money to bought the potion

guys? how do i surpass the battle ship? i mean after crossing to 2 whirlpools, i need to fight wit a huge ship. i keep on dying on that part. i cant go beyond that to go to greedy land. is there a trick i need to know? or am i just stupid. :p

you mean the ghost ship?
if you realized, the ghost ship has a same pattern in firing. just attack the right if he's firing at left. then retreat... don't try to fight without tactics. just follow the pattern of it shots

repeat it all the time until you win

im sorry for being really noob but ive been stuck for quite a while :S i have to give a message to lante and i dont know where he is. if he's in pirate town, i cant go there cuz its low tide. and i cant go north of the desert cuz theres a barrier that i cant get rid of. help would be greatly appreciated

I figured it out right after I posted the above :'D
Here's the thing: At the barrier go all the way right. You'll see a mini ''mudslide'' that is darker colour than the sand around you. The catch is you have to be the dragon to pass. Somehow being a human doesn't work. Go east and load your next location. You'll find yourself in another village. At the north-east corner you'll find a circular hollow, above it is a bubble with three dots. Go to it and read/follow the instructions. It's pretty straightforward. You can also buy level two weapons/armor at the shop here. The guy with the money glitch is also here, although I've yet to find his water.

I've encountered this difficulty as well. Would someone be kind enough to tell as how to a) get past the barriers in the desert and b) get off the island I'm currently on? It'll be greatly appreciated if somebody could, because I've been stuck for hours exploring every inch of the island to no avail... and leveling up is getting boring x:
