    Arrow Verizon - ringtones

If you have Verizon and want an easy way to get ringtones on your phone.

... Go to vzwpix.com and register with your cell number - it's free

.....download a ringtone to your computer ( I use desktop - easy to find )

..... Right click on ringtone and click on send to / mail

..... type in your cell number, with area code....
    like 518727xxxx@vzwpix.com

    >> it will be sent to your phone

With the LG phones save it as ringtone
others save as sound if there is no "save as ringtone "

It will come in as a pix, but it's the ringtone, also before you save it you can fwd it to someone else.....

    hope this helps, Kevin

this method doesn't work for certain verizon phones, these phones restrict setting sounds that are saved as ringtones, i.e. motorola z6tv, LG VX 8100. If anyone has found a way around them let me know.

I went to the website and the ones I see are not free. They are $2.99 each.

Thanks James! The second choice to download it to my computer is the one i have used before and it worked. But today I have been trying off and on and haven't been able to get any one to work. Thought maybe it was verizon. I'll try it again tomorrow.

  6. Cool Unable to save ringtones

    Hi, all,
Very new to this. Have LG Dare with Verizon. I can download ringtones from wap.mobiles24.com and hear them on my phone. I cannot find an option anywhere to save as ringtone.

    Any suggestions.

    Thanx, Paula

i had a voyager and had issues saving it too. to get ringtones to my phone, i was was able to save it as a sound on my microSD in the sound folder. i then went to the sounds on my phone and i was able to send it to myself as a text and then save as a ringtone. a really round-a-bout way, but it worked.

1: where do I find the software.
2: how do I translate once I have it.
3: can I perform a translation using only my handset(se w995) as do not yet own a p.c. If this is not possible could you please tell me how to attatch copys of the games to a thread so someone with the right tools can attempt it. I would really appreciate it, thanx.
