Treo 700wx PocketNester issues help!
Hello, I have a Treo 700wx running Windows Mobile 5.0. I recently installed PocketNesterPlus (9.0) and the tGetFile app which allows me to open roms in the emulator.
That functionality works great, and the games like super mario bros 3 and the Legend of Zelda open smoothly with the sound.
The problem is mapping the controls... The four-way directional pad and center key map to separate addresses ok, but the entire keyboard maps as 0x10, and the two arrow (shift) keys map as 0xC9. This means I cannot map A, B, select, and start using the keyboard, only 2 of them. The other problem is while in the "Controllers" screen (or any menu screen in the emulator) to map the buttons, I cant scroll down past the left direction mapping. Even usign the 4-way to scroll down it doesnt go past it.
Finally, none of the buttons actually respond, even if they are all separately mapped to different addresses, like the convenience key on the side, the 'windows' button, and the "OK" button, as well as any qwerty key.
This means I can only view the title screens of any games I load, and not actually play any of the games. Only once I got a key to respond, and that was select while loading up Mario bros 3. I'm not even sure how it happened; maybe from pressign the buttons fast it might have picked up.
If anyone knows any fixes, or can help in any way I greatly appreciate it!
Oh, and and if it matters I first installed the PocketNester first, then after ran the tGetFile. Both are in the "Program Files" directory on my treo's storage.
