Amazing Math Puzzles!!!

Seeing so many word games threads, I thought why not create my own Math Puzzles thread? This will let me know how many of u like to probe ur minds with such problems. I've got a number of books which will provide me with all the puzzles, so credit goes to them. Anyone can post here any Math riddles/puzzles (only Mathematical, nothing else please!)

Here's my first riddle:
Sox Unseen:
you have six blue socks and six green socks in a drawer, all jumbled up. u have to take out a pair in pitch dark. how many socks should u take out in order to get a pair of socks? (either a blue pair or a green one)

Nice! that's correct! ok, here's another one:
Gloves Galore:
you have six pairs of blue gloves and six pairs of green gloves, same conditions apply, now how many should u take out in order to get a pair of any colour?
(this may sound like SOX UNSEEN, but is very different!)
