They are. But be patient
Some of the main missions make you want to pull your hair out of your head.
Are you playing on normal difficulty or easy?

some main missions are quite difficult, but i haven't really done too many of them, it's difficult getting the gold medal in the mini-games and i'm playing in normal difficulty.

I'm also on normal, and some of them are really difficult.
When you get gold on all of them, it unlocks Platinum.
Now that's a challenge.
