I wonder - why do so many of You upload screenshots in such big pixel sizes , some are so big they still don't fit my screen and have to be scrolled sideways!
It is quite unlikely that someone is gonna make a poster or wallpaper of them and You can see just about the same on smaller pictures if used for in game preview purposes - maybe not exactly ALL details when zooming in (if You downloaded the picture!), but most of it.
A screenshot of "Flatout Ultimate Carnage" at high resolution (nice details in shattered glass):

Same picture very simply re-sized with "Windows Image Resizer" , "Medium" option:

Maybe I'm wrong , but isn't the smaller picture sufficient?

Select all of Your screenshots , right-click , "Resize Pictures" , choose a picture size (small-640x480 , medium-800x600 , large-1024x768 or enter a custom size) , click "OK" !
It will not distort widescreen screnshots to 4:3 , take a look at my pictures - the width is the reference for the program to determine the height.
Edit: To stay in the spirit of this thread!

I just realized that I played it at a 4:3 resolution (1280x960) on a 16:9 widescreen display.
Edit 2: Even smaller pictures! Good enough?Last edited by Wilhelm; 05-12-2009 at 11:44 PM. Reason: Replaced screenshots!
