Frodo is a Commodore 64 home computer emulator. It was ported from Christian Bauer's original Frodo for Amiga. Porting for Epoc was done by Jal Panvel and Alfred E. Heggestad. Porting to Nokia 9210 and S60 was done by me. Frodo was released for 9210 on July, 2001. That was the first C64 emulator for any cell phone!

If you have problems with Frodo, firstly, read the help text in Frodo application(!). That is found from the menu. You can also browse my Message Board for the solution, or ask a question there.

The latest version of Frodo supports also sensors (accelerometer), vibration, on-screen C64 keyboard and audio engine. To enable those those features, you have to install Bilbo library also. Imagine playing Pitstop II by rotating your phone like a steering wheel, or solving Quedex maze by turning the phone in any direction. If you do not want just imagine, look at the YouTube video below and after that get Frodo and Bilbo to your phone! Note that sensors and vibration is not supported in all S60 phone models.

Below is a list of S60 3rd edition phones (could be still more). I have not been tested all ;-), but Frodo & Bilbo should work for most Nokia phones. Nokia 3250 and E50 are the only phones that has been reported to have audio problems. I do not know about Samsung or LG phones.

In BlueScanner you scan for Bluetooth devices (mobile phones with Bluetooth turned on) that are near by. You can use BlueScanner to spy on who are close. For every new Bluetooth device you find, you gain experience points that helps you level up and increase your global online ranking. You will also be able to see total number of players out there scanning for Bluetooth devices and the total number of found Bluetooth devices.

The application needs you to enable your Bluetooth in order to work. To find Bluetooth devices you need to get out among other people, in the street, in the subways etc.

You can also download the application directly by entering Log in to see links in the web browser of your phone.
