recycling sounds
Hi All-
I have a BIG bunch of old midi files from waaaay back in the day (circa 1997-98). Most of them would make good ringtones. Is there some kind of software available here I could use to shorten them to ringtone size?
Then I could upload them for everyone to use?

I need software for that. Maybe free or shareware midi editor? Off to google with me - unless there's something here?

mp3 uploads need to be 30 sec or less due to copyright issues. but midi files can be longer
anyway, if you want to modify your midi, i think anvil studio is freenone

Thanks for all your help!

recycling sounds - resolved
It was really weird - somehow the extensions were all caps and when I changed them to lower case they uploaded just fine.
There were 98 midis. That should round out the polyphonics quite nicelyThere's everything from classical to early electronic to jazz to blue grass to pop to oldies and a bunch more in "other."
Hope you enjoy them!

yes, the extensions of all files you upload must be lowercase. there are some great ringtones there, full songs. that'll be great for karaoke
