ya it is possible in 2 ways-
1.Download folder lock software, through it u can lock the folders by giving it a unique password.

2. Another software named as file manager this software will show the folders but hides all the material it contains..

Here is ur full file manager- And after installation u require to fill ur phone IMEI no. through which u will get ur code.. Now your problem is solved.

No it is not possible without mobile software - folderlock or fileman,u have to install one in ur phone.

download fileman.., for ur mobile.,

then.,
option-->file or folder-->attribute-->hidden-.yes., now safe

it hide any installed programes too.,
