If you get an error like that, there is no way you can resume the suspended file.
Try to save the actual game sometimes.
If the emulater crashes you can still resume the save file on the cart ridge...

If the Meboy doesn't make any sounds, it means that your phone isen't able to play it. I have the same thing with my nokia 3110c. Just play a mp3 music when playing or something. I do...

I'm sorry to tell you, but there are almost no mario platform games on GBC only on GB.
