I'm familiar with a few programs that will convert .avi and .mpg to 3GP formats for cellphones, but does anyone know what software programs might be considered among some of the more popular/best programs to use for the best video reproduction quality?

You could try Allok video 2 3gp converter... It even separates audio from video, compresses songs,vids. On da downside it requires all da codecs 2 b installed.

P.S. SUPER sucks also, I ripped with it two times and the video won't play, and when I try to play the video on the Nokia PC Suite is says a required video codec is missing, what a joke the SUPER site says you don't need any codecs for this thing, what a piece of junk! :(

Ive been using this converter for more than 8 MONTHS!!!
All the videos that i uploaded into the gallery so far were converted using this & all of them were in PERFECT QUALITY!!
Download a few of them if u don't believe me man...
I think something happened in the conversion or the settings..
Why don't u try converting into a different format??:(:(
