mine computer was infected with tons of viruses
demo version of antivirus 2009 found them
i didn't wanted to buy antivirus 2009 cause its expensive so i just went to computer mechanic and he fixed it

avast is good it updates couple of times in day plus its free well home edition is

i've had mcafee and its stupid while i had it i've had to take my computer couple of times to be fixed
kaspersky is good but not that good

Then again I pay for my antivirus

so I get the full protection
