nah,poetry is for people that are in depresion or in love cuz people expres there felings in gentle songs:)(i studied poetry for 2 years)

Here's my edition:


Prelude to Life

On the seemingly endless path called life,
I trudge on,pursuing goodness;
Into turbulent waters,I dive,
Avoiding the unvarnished truth with a defiant face.

I know nothing of the truth I avoid,
Neither do I understand it's purpose;
I assure you,it can't be found in any tabloid,
It is not even known by the wise carcass.

Why,oh why can't I comprehend life's circle?
Why,oh why can't I figure out my purpose here?
All I know is that I have to trudge on with a story to tell,
and turn a blind eye to life's leer.

these poems i wrote are for life(this you cant vote)

I don't understand why they treat us this way,
We are not that different, inside were all the same,
We should not be judged by our religion or the color of our face,
Because in the end, we're all running this same race,

I wake up each day and I want to run away,
Away from this world of cruelty and shame,
And I think of the joy that our world could have,
If we all stop this madness and never forget that in God's eyes,

we are all the Same.



I feel you in the morning
When at first I awake
Your thought is with me
With each decision I make

You'd been around forever
Since the first breath I took
Now I have to go on alone
But for love, I need not look

Cause by what you bestowed
In our short time together
Will last in my heart
Forever and ever

Although you've left
And now walk above
I'm never alone
I'm wrapped in your love

Enjoy now your long waited reward
Feel peace that your love continues on
What was taught to me, will be taught to mine
Cause you live on in me even after you've gone


I never really knew you
You were just another friend
But when I got to know you,
I let my heart unbend.
I couldn't help past memories
that would only make me cry
I had to forget my first love
and give love another try
So I've fallen in love with you
and I'll never let you go
I love you more than anyone
I just had to let you know
And if you ever wonder why
I don't know what I'll say
But I'll never stop loving you
each and every day
My feelings for you will never change
Just know my feelings are true
Just remember one thing
I Love You!
