a pointer is a special kind of variable that stores the address of another variable in C/C++ programming, a similar kinda thing happens in this case. Funny thing you should say that .... I've just trialed a peice of software called "Easeus Data Recovery". If you've deleted a file, lost it (due to virus or whatever) or formattted your computer, you can get the files back.

It's working for me :yahoo:
