Yes he had a fantastic race. Started in 17th and ended up second.
The safety car came out at exactly the right time for him. He was on a one-stopper and he's scheduled stop was at the same time as the safety car.

This is a refreshing change of pace for the usual "I am king of the tarmac" Hamilton:
Lewis warns against complacency
21/07/2008 13:16
Germany - Briton Lewis Hamilton on Monday warned against anyone "getting carried away" with his recent resurgence of form after successive wins at the British and German Grands Prix.
The 23-year-old Englishman, who produced a superb aggressive drive to seize victory in Sunday's German race, said he felt on top form again after a spell of indifferent results.
But he added he knew well, after last year's final race disappointment, that there remains a long way to go in the scrap for glory in the drivers' world championship.
Hamilton is now four points clear in the title race and will head towards the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest and the European race on a street circuit in Valencia, Spain, with high confidence.
"We are really on top of our game," said Hamilton, who had to overcome a strategy mistake by his McLaren Mercedes-Benz team and then pass three rivals in thrilling fashion to win.
"But we have not to get too far ahead of ourselves. We've got a long way to go and we've got to make sure that we can continue with this performance."

It is not inconceivable that World Champion Kimi Raikkonen will retire at the end of this season, according to former Grand Prix veteran Martin Brundle.
The Briton, who is now a commentator for British television, wrote in his latest newspaper column that he senses an "unhappy and frustrated" streak in the 28-year-old Ferrari driver's demeanour at present.
Before the recent British Grand Prix, Raikkonen shoved a respected photographer on the grid, and at Hockenheim he struggled all weekend and dropped seven points behind Lewis Hamilton's championship lead.
"I would still be more than surprised if he retired this year, but if he wants to sign off as World Champion, he needs more speed and balance in his car," Brundle wrote in the Sunday Times.
Brundle said he cannot imagine Raikkonen as a young retiree.
"I cannot easily imagine him as a businessman, a media person or a home-loving family man. I find it hard to think of him as anything other than a one-dimensional, totally focused born racer," the veteran of more than 150 races, most recently in 1996, added.
"So he would go snowmobile racing for fun, and occasional form suggests he might drink too much. You would actually worry more for him if he retired than if he was still racing," Brundle said.
Is he going or is he staying?
Kimi Raikkonen insists he has not lost the desire to win, but the defending world champion is still refusing to commit to Formula One beyond the end of his Ferrari contract next year.
The 28-year-old Finn had a notably lacklustre German Grand Prix last weekend, amid rumours his heart is no longer in it and he may be contemplating an early retirement.
"The desire to win hasn't decreased at all," Raikkonen said on Tuesday, insisting that last year - when he ultimately won the drivers' title - he similarly went six races without a victory.
But in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, he refused to confirm whether he will still be on the grid in 2010.
"I am not in a hurry to decide," Raikkonen said. "I have one more year on my contract that I want to fulfil."
"For 2010, we will see. It is not an easy decision, it is necessary to evaluate many things."
Many observers cannot understand why, with possibly F1's most lucrative contract and one of the most competitive seats, Raikkonen would be considering hanging up his helmet.
"I don't feel like I need to explain, I will make my decision when I am ready. Ferrari is not rushing me either."
"There are many things to do outside of Formula One - I will find ways to amuse myself," he said, "and I have never had problems with having spare time."
Similarly, Raikkonen does not exclude the possibility of simply continuing at Ferrari in 2010, and would welcome Fernando Alonso as a team-mate.
"Why not?" he answered when asked about potentially having Alonso as a team-mate. "Who knows, but I am not the one who makes the decisions about drivers."
Some pics I took at the Renault Formula1 Roadshow:
This is the old car. It was on display and also raced up and down the streets of Sandton.
