Something we agree on...
Interesting.
Good to have Kimi on the podium again.
I feel sorry for Alonso though. The guy just has no luck at all.
Hopefully Massa will be ok.
It must have hurt. He was doing 168 miles per hour when it hit him. :o
I know....Ouch :surrender:
he didnt even need to do that lap.
Do you think he would of been unconscious before the crash happened
Mass of that thing is 800 g...when it hit him its mass was 700 Kg :o:o
because of its and Massa's speed
It's possible he might never drive a Formula1 car ever again. :(
Apparently his eye was badly damaged in the accident and it might not heal properly.
I say this under correction. I heard it on the news. Just checked F1Live.com but they haven't said anything yet.
Ive seen the eye pictures, did look horrible.
His health should be first priority for him, then if he cant drive again it will be sad for him and fans of formula 1... but atleast he still has a life :)
His wife is having their baby in November...

I can't believe Michael is back.
Crap.
Now I can only support one Ferrari.
It's ridiculous.
Arrogant ass.
He and the Porker will get along well I'd imagine.
Between them their egos will blot out the sun.
With a four-week break between Grands Prix, Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen would be forgiven for taking a well-deserved holiday. But Raikkonen clearly can’t resist the pull of racing, and instead of jetting off on a relaxing vacation, is preparing to make his World Rally Championship debut in front of his home crowd in Finland this weekend.
Having already competed in three non-championship events, including January’s Arctic Lapland rally, Raikkonen isn’t a complete newcomer to the sport, although it will be his first outing on gravel. He will be partnered by fellow Finn Kaj Lindstrom, previously co-driver for four-time WRC champion Tommi Makinen, and the Ferrari driver is keen to get started.
“I can’t wait to race at the Finland Rally, although I’m only going there to have fun,” he said. “We had some very good tests with my Fiat Grande Punto Abarth S2000 and we’re ready for racing. I’ve got a lot of experience in Formula One but not in rally driving, although I know a bit about what it’s about. Getting used to a new track in Formula One is quite easy, but in a rally the stages always change.”
The opening stage takes place on Thursday evening, before the competition really gets underway on Friday morning. Other competitors at the event will include 2008 winner Sebastien Loeb and current championship leader Mikko Hirvonen.
I can't believe it... he's 40 years old !
Indeed. He could be my grandfather.
:laugh::laugh::laugh:
Just heard that Michael won't make his come back, due to some neck injuries...;)
I think that Nox will be very happy...
:whee::whee::whee:No Michael No Michael No Michael:whee::whee::whee:
It's because he thought he could drive a motorcycle, when all he should be driving is a wheelchair.
...
..............

Kimi got another podium!! :yahoo:
And the Porker was robbed of a victory by his stupid pit crew :yahoo:

The signs are growing that McLaren and Mercedes-Benz are headed for different futures in Formula One.
The companies had already parted in terms of their joint road sports car programmes, and reports have intensified throughout this week that a similar split is looming in terms of their 15-year F1 collaboration.
On Wednesday, Auto Motor und Sport claimed that McLaren is getting in the way of Mercedes' plans for next season by currently vetoing the intended engine supply deal with Red Bull Racing.
The tension on this front is almost certainly also linked with yet another team, as both the German language Blick and Auto Motor und Sport publications report that Brackley-based Brawn GP is set to be 75% owned by Mercedes by 2012.
McLaren has a contract for exclusive works rights until the end of 2011, so until Mercedes can buy Brawn itself, the Daimler AG shareholder AABAR of Abu Dhabi could hold the stake, Auto Motor und Sport said on Thursday.
"If we wanted to change anything with our Formula One commitment then we could certainly speak with Abu Dhabi," Mercedes parent Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche is quoted as saying.
Auto Motor und Sport said contracts with Brawn GP are to be signed shortly, with a deal to include a silver livery from 2010 and the Mercedes logo on the engine cover.
Brawn's new title sponsor is said to be a German company, and 24-year-old German Nico Rosberg is the favourite to become Jenson Button's 2010 team-mate, the report added.
The Porker on pole :(
Jenson Button in 6th
How haven't I noticed this thread before! Anyway, Forza Ferrari, Kimi, Schumi and Massa! Champions next year! This year I'm glad that Hamilton won't win again, both Button and Bariccelo deserve the title, they 've always been ignored, yet I'm a little bit more for Button. If Mercedes buys Brown GP, I'll like that team too...
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Kimi Raikkonen has signed an "outline agreement" to kick off a second tenure with the McLaren team beginning next season, the Mirror newspaper reported on Sunday.
The British newspaper said the 29-year-old Finn, who raced with the Woking based outfit between 2002 and 2006, must first reach an agreement with Ferrari, with whom he is under contract for one more season.
The Mirror cited "paddock sources" in claiming that Raikkonen is prepared to vacate his contracted Ferrari seat in 2010, but only if the famous Italian outfit pays his salary. The newspaper estimated Raikkonen's 2010 Ferrari contract at nearly US $49m.
The report also said the news ties in with Nico Rosberg's link with Brawn and the Brackley team's burgeoning relationship with Mercedes-Benz.
The German manufacturer Mercedes was said to be pushing for Rosberg to replace Heikki Kovalainen at McLaren, but may now have resolved to push the German driver to Brawn and increase its involvement with the Ross Brawn-led outfit.

Why Australia isnt first?:o
Hey did you heard what happened to Renault...:surrender:
2 years suspensions if i'm exact...;)
Its a poor decision in my opinion.
Why bahrain to start the season:o
Quote:
South Korea will host its first grand prix next year after being listed on a 19-race calendar published on Monday.
The event, which will be held in Yeongam in the south-west of the country, is scheduled for 17 October.
That makes it the third last race, with Abu Dhabi on 31 October and the climax in Brazil on 14 November.
The Canadian Grand Prix returns after a year's absence but is listed as provisional pending the completion of contract negotiations.
The British Grand Prix has an 11 July date. F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has said that the British event will stay at Silverstone if Donington cannot fulfil its obligations.
Bahrain has replaced the Australian Grand Prix as the season opener because Ecclestone wants to run the Melbourne event, which is slated for 28 March, at a time as friendly to European television audiences as possible.
This year, the Australian race started at 1700 local time, which was 0700 BST. However, that would not be possible two weeks earlier as the clocks would still to have been changed from summer to winter time in Australia, and vice versa in Europe.
The Malaysian race, a week after Australia, starts at 1600 local time, an hour earlier than this year's truncated event to give more time to finish the event in the event of delays.
There are several other tweaks to the calendar from this year.
The Canadian Grand Prix
Canada's return would be popular with F1 teams and fans
The European Grand Prix at Valencia moves from this year's August date to 27 June in an attempt to avoid the high temperatures in Spain in late summer.
The German Grand Prix is listed as being at Hockenheim, but there remain doubts over its finances.
Yeah I saw that on the news earlier, Dirt bags. I agree with duje, well deserved, Imagine hockeying a car that expensive into a wall just to throw the position. I suppose it had to be believeable but WTF?
You'd think that F1 would be corruption free. but there you go.
Its a 2 year suspended sentence, which means commit a similar offence before the end of 2011 and they will be disqualified.
I think its very light for what they did, and i think its because renault has threatened to walk away and F1 can not afford to lose another car manufactuer after HONDA and BMW.
We want Noxide in Ferrari!
Kimi first driver and Noxide second........:whee::whee::whee:
