Man you have to do this , before opening the application , select that app and Goto
options > App. acess > data acess > add and edit data > and select the option 'ask every time' .
You won't get that mssg again.
If any application shows that type of mssg , you have to follow the above mentioned steps.

If you are talking about Albite reader , it can open .txt ebooks and .epub ebooks (android ebooks) .If you want to open pdf files , just use Mobilepdf as already mentioned.
