maybe you have the lower version MeBoy. i think any version lower then 1.3 cannot play gbc roms. try the MeBoy makers site for the latest version

its hard to explain what happens. the screen goes white but when you open the menu then close it and the screen just freezes on whatever picture is supposed to be up
