TOOLTIPS » OBSTRUCT & CLUTTER SCREENVIEWS !!! AarghH !!!
Aren't there sniffer scripts or detection scripplets that can determine users' connection type? I'm 99% positive there are.
And,
It would be a very considerate help to users of this site who aren't logging in from a handheld device like an HTC Evo or similar with a screen nearly the size of your hand with fingers fully extended, if upon detection of mobileweb or WiFi connections the javascript code that creates these on-mouseover event tooltip actions to be suspended or otherwise disabled.
My Blackberry 8530 Curve's screen is only about 240x240px (about 2" x 2" square).
Those tooltips really clutter up smaller screens like these.
Something to think about - just a suggestion, regarding Quality of User Experience improvement possibility - that's all.
Otherwise, site is a real diamond find. Lots of useful stuff around here.
