Here are some moderators who think the Site to be their sole ancestral property. Every now and then, they threaten the uploaders (contributors) that he/she'd be banned and they remain busy in refusing the uploads instead of validating those, because the former is easier than the latter. I know that I'd be banned immediately after this, but who cares? I think many contributors won't like to be here for a long, if they are to bear with such moderators!

Refusing inappropriate uploads is a unavoidable part of properly validating them!
And NO , refusing uploads is not necessarily easier - it sometimes takes much more time to identify a refusal then a acceptable upload.

Each category has strict guidelines/rules which should be followed as good as possible - exactly that seems to be a problem for some members , for whatever reason!

Moderators have been assigned to keep watch over the files that will end up in the Free Gallery enforcing the same Upload Guidelines that apply to Uploaders.
In doing so they will refuse: low quality , duplicate , watermarked , copyrighted , faulty , pornographic , or any other inappropriate files in order to keep the Gallery clean!

There are , and will always be , members that gain RP by badly prepared mass uploads.
Such members left it to the Moderators to do their work , as such they should not be complaining about refusals!

To avoid refusals pick ONE category , familiarize Yourself with the upload guidelines regarding that category and stick with it!

I know that there are Contributors with a refusal ratio as low as 1/100 , most likely even 1/few hundreds!
That should be a good indication that the Upload Guidelines can be followed.

If certain members even try to follow the Upload Guidelines is a completely different story!


Although I can speak only for myself , I think that all Moderators care about the well being of Mobiles24.com - as such we will not refuse acceptable uploads!
But exactly because we care about Mobiles24.com we have to refuse uploads that are inappropriate , according to the Upload Guidelines , in ANY WAY!

As Aaron pointed out , the Forum is also to be used by following certain Forum Rules , You might wanna read them.

Just to be fair, I've never faced the problem with any moderators. Sure, my uploads have been refused before, and I've sorted it out privately by contacting them with PM if I have any problems. They have been helpful always. Moderators might send us WARNING based on site's rules, but not "Threatening."

I am sorry to feel that way, but I think your action wasn't the best way to solve anything unless you just wanted to rant your anger in public.

As one of the site contributors, I say that I would like to stay in this awesome site as long as possible!

I've have told refusing is easier than validitating, because I've experienced it several times in its true sense. If there are 5/6 contents poor pixelated in a 100 queued uploads, all the uploads are downright rejected. When you'll select good or bad, it'd be difficult, but if you reject all, its the easiest thing... It happened several times. This is just because I protested (through PM) one of the Moderator's way of giving warnings. And he confirmed me that hereafter all my uploads would be rejected. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENING THEREAFTER... So...
