NEW: Contributor Badges & Achievement Medals

Greetings everyone!

As promised back in February, we have introduced special badges and achievements to recognise the contributions you have made to Mobiles24.

The new system covers lots of different achievements and milestones based on your contributions to the community and how popular they are among other users.

All badges you can achieve and the criteria required are listed here.
Some badges listed on the above page such as top contributor/developer are not yet available, but will be enabled soon.

Over the next few weeks we'll be adding more badges to cover different areas and new sections.

Badges are not yet displayed on profiles but they will be included in the new, much improved profile design that we are implementing within the next 2-3 days. :cool:

Any suggestions would be welcome and in the meantime I'm going to be admiring all of your badges. :thumbsup:

Mark, I have a question.. I know previously on old M24 the ranks or badges were automatically posted on the profile once we met a certain limit or requirement but I don't see that happen now.. Is it a job of a site moderator to go through every profile in order to approve badges??? how is it done now.. do we need to wait :whistle:

I'm currently resolving an issue with the system that automatically issues badges, so at the moment we're having to manually invoke the badge issuing system per account. We'll be happy to update your account if and when you should be issued with a new/updated badge... just give us a shout via PM.

I've just ran your account through it so it should be up to date. ;)

You have to earn 1,000 RP to get the 1st level of Contributor Badge. :)

The Achievements & Badges, so far!

I don't know how to go to forums now :surrender: When I click on forums tab, it redirects me to a page other than the forums. Did u change anything Mark/Karl :whistle: Please guide.. I only click on the activities tab and the forums I had visited in past. I am unable to go to regular forums to view the rest of the activities there!

Hey Mark, I was talking about the main forums page. I couldn't access it few weeks ago. It is fine now. Could be a bug. not sure!:blink:
