lol thats what I thought too, it happened some days ago when I installed avast antivirus, my phone is rooted so there is a firewall in avast that i think was the reason.

When you open pc companion, then isn`t there any update available??

No when my phone was on stand by then suddenly the screen turns on and after 3 sec it turns off, and that happened a lot of time.
I read on a forum that you have to update your phone to solve the problem, but i didn`t wanted to update my phone, but after flashing the problem is solved.
